Scheme background: The project was SGN, Lambeth/Riney and G Network working collaboratively in the same area. Although the works were within the Lambeth Borough.
Between the planned conference calls, Riney, G Network and ourselves held other meetings to keep the momentum up and had both organisations discussing roles & responsibilities, such as cost sharing, TM plans, who excavates and who reinstates the area.
The project started on 1st March 2022 and took approximately 100 days to complete. SGN started the project on Wandsworth Road at the Junction of Stewarts Road. SGN had 2 weeks to move from the junction of Stewarts Road so Riney can start the install of the new traffic light signals and resurfacing works. SGN backed filed up to a certain level and then temporary reinstated the area for Riney to continue. SGN then replaced the main on Stewart’s Road and Minshull Street. A road closure was in place on Minshull street. During the collaboration works G Network were using the TM plans and 4-way lights to work on Union road
