Scheme background: The project was SGN, G Network, Thames Water and Lambeth resurfacing working collaboratively in the same area. Although the works were within the Lambeth Borough.
Between the planned conference calls, GLA, Thames Water, G Network, Lambeth and ourselves held other meetings to keep the momentum up and had both organisations discussing roles & responsibilities, such as cost sharing, TM plans, who excavates and who reinstates the area. SGN required a BAPA to work within a certain distance of a Network railway bridge, so we had several meetings and correspondence to get that approved.
The project started on 28th October 2023 and took approximately 32 days to complete. SGN Started working first on Rosendale Road, in total we inserted 166m of 140mm PE and 92.5m of 125mm PE. We completed on 30th November
Thames Water and G Networks started working collaboratively with SGN at the same time along Rosendale Road. Some of service excavations had TW assets in them so they took over those and reinstated them. We backfilled and reinstated the excavations related to the rest of SGN works and TW continued to complete their works.
Once SGN, TW and G Network finished their works, Lambeth resurfacing team resurfaced the carriageway along Rosendale Road.
