National Grid and Cadent make full use of the learning linked with the EPRG program of work related to this NIA project.

Of the completed projects the following are of most interest:

The next JTM between EPRG, PRCI and APGA is due to be held in Edinburgh in Spring 2021, and National Grid and Cadent are participating in organizing this event. EPRG are currently embarking on a ‘road-mapping’ exercise that aims to develop a program of work for the next 5 years that is guided by the requirements of the member companies. Of particular interest is that hydrogen transportation projects are the top- agenda item for the majority of the companies, and this aligns strongly with National Grid and Cadent’s business plans.

Lessons Learnt

Closure – 2020/2021
By continuing to take a proactive approach on the committees, engaging to clearly articulate the specific projects in EPRG’s annual program that are of value to National Grid and Cadent, the project team can influence priority being given to projects previously delayed. In respects of future projects of highly collaborative nature, it is still recommended that sufficient project team resources be in place to allow a high level of engagement to influence committees and they leverage the maximum value on such projects.
