Successful Collaboration reducing impact to Hammersmith and Fulham
In May Cadent completed a successful collaboration project alongside Thames water and G network. Identified by Hammersmith and Fulham, all three networks liaised to create a single lane closure on Shepherd Bush Road so all three utilities could completed their respective works. Had these projects taken place separately, the impact on shepherds Bush Road would have been 24 additional working days, each with a lane closure on a different stretch and each impacting the local bus stops, Fire station and local businesses. G Network were installing a large stretch of fibre optic cable for the local residents and Cadent and Thames each had work for a developer who is having utilities moved for their ongoing works. Collaborations works are becoming normality for Cadent as we actively pursue maximising value for London, attempting to minimize disruption as much as possible.
A big thank you to Stephen Hunt from LBHF for identifying this work and for taking the time to pull everyone together to make it happen.
This prject was identified as 'Strategic Project' by the Greater London Authority (GLA).
