Low Carbon Technologies Forum 2025

Theme: Diversification in Electricity Networks

Date & Time:
30th September, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Venue:
ENA Offices, 4 More London Riverside

The Low Carbon Technologies Forum returns with a full day of insights, discussion, and collaboration under this year’s theme: Diversification in Electricity Networks. As the energy system continues to shift toward net zero, this forum brings together key voices to explore how our networks are adapting to support a smarter, more flexible, and inclusive future.

Sessions throughout the day will touch on current ENA workstreams, including smarter connections processes such as Connect Direct and LCT readiness tools. The main discussion will centre on diversity within the network — from technical considerations and system impacts to evolving customer needs and planning challenges. We'll also look at how new technologies such as hybrid inverters, battery systems, and smarter protection schemes are influencing the way networks operate and evolve.

A panel discussion and Q&A will close the day, offering space for open dialogue and new ideas.

Whether you're from a network operator, technology provider, regulator, or industry group, this forum is a key touchpoint for staying informed, connected, and aligned on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
